The airport has 5,880 public parking spaces including a 4-level parking garage and a convenient credit-card-only parking lot adjacent to the passenger terminal. You can get to the garage from the lower level of the passenger terminal via a tunnel. There are three runways and over 62,000 linear feet of taxiways.

Directions to the Louisville International Airport: As the airport is conveniently located at the intersection of I-65 and I-264, it is easily accessible from many directions. To get Louisville Airport directions, simply plug the Louisville airport address into Google Maps, Mapquest or your GRS system. Or, the following directions can also lead you to the location.
From Nashville or points south - For visitors coming from south or Nashville, you are suggested to take I-65 north to I-264 west (exit 131). Then follow the airport signs directly into the terminal.
From east or Lexington - If driving from east or Lexington, you should take I-64 west to I-264 west to Exit 11. Follow the airport signs to the terminal.
From west or St. Louis - If departing from west or St. Louis, take I-64 east to I-264 (Exit 1) to Exit 11. Follow the signs to the airport.
From northeast or Cincinnati - Coming from northeast or Cincinnati, you should take I-71 South to I-264 (left lane exit). Follow I-264 to Exit 11. The directional sings will direct you to the terminal.
From downtown Louisville - For visitors driving from downtown, you should head north on S 5th towards W Liberty Street. Take the first right onto W Liberty Street. Make a right at S First Street. Take a slight left to merge onto I-65 south towards Nashville. Get off at 131B exit towards airport. Follow the signs to airport.
From local streets - If you are driving from local streets, Preston Highway or Phillips Lane will get you into the airport. Head west on Phillips Lane and make a left onto the Freedom Way ramp (across from the Fairgrounds Gate 1). Follow the signs to the airport and parking lots.
